Takeda Joins Cast of “Meet the Fockers” Sequel

DreamWorks/Universal added TV/Film actor Scott Takeda to the cast of the long-awaited sequel to “Meet the Fockers,” the 2004 comedy hit. He plays an ER doctor treating the young son of the Focker clan.

The feature film titled tentatively titled “Little Fockers” is headlined by all the original stars Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Teri Polo, Blythe Danner, Dustin Hoffman, Barbara Streisand and Robert DeNiro.

Joining the third film of the “Meet the Parents” series are costars Laura Dern (‘Jurassic Park’) and Harvey Keitel (‘Reservoir Dogs’).

Paul Weitz (‘About A Boy’) directs and long time “Meet the Parents” scribe John Hamburg (‘Zoolander’) writes. The film is scheduled for a December 2010 release.
