Takeda Joins Cast of Hallmark Film

For the next few weeks, TV/Film actor Scott Takeda is on-location to shoot a large supporting role in the latest Hallmark film “Love At The Pecan Farm.”

Starring Christine Ko (NBC’s “The Great Indoors” and FX’ “Dave”), Wes Brown (HBO’s “True Blood”) and Lauren Tom (Disney Channel’s “Andi Mack”), the story is roughly based on how Brown met his real-life wife Amanda. Brown is also executive producer. Hallmark veterans David Wulf (producer) and Dustin Rikert (director) at at the helm.

Takeda plays Tom, the father to Ko’s character in a largely all-Asian cast. The film will premiere later this summer on Hallmark Channel.
