Takeda Joins All-Star Cast Of Charity Table Read

This week, TV/Film actor Scott Takeda is participating in a Zoom table read of the 2018 studio comedy hit “Second Act,” directed by Peter Segal.

Segal returns to direct this table read led by Kelly Hu (“The Scorpion King”), Amy Okuda (“Atypical”) and Kearran Giovanni (TNT’s “Major Crimes”). Reprising their roles from the film are Dierdre Friel (NBC’s “New Amsterdam”) and Charlyne Yi (“This Is 40”). Takeda plays Felix (originally played by Dave Foley).

Rounding out the team are LA casting director Kamala A. Thomas who cast this project and Maggie Grout, executive director of Thinking Huts.

The table read will “air” on Saturday July 24th to help Thinking Huts raise money to build a school in Madagascar.
