Takeda Books “Welcome To The Fishbowl”

This week, TV/Film actor Scott Takeda joins the cast of the screwball comedy feature “Welcome to the Fishbowl,” starring Natalie Gold (HBO’s “Succession”), Jeremy Swift (“Ted Lasso”), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Max’ “The Doom Patrol”) and Marin Hinkle (Amazon’s “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”).

It’s a road-trip film, where everyone gets lost, then runs into a cast of crazies who help them find their way. Takeda plays one of the crazies along with long time TV veterans Katie Finneran (NBC’s “The Michael J. Fox Show”), Peter Jacobson (FOX’ “House”) and David Aaron Baker (Showtime’s “Billions.’)

The film is co-written and directed by Sheryl Glubok in her feature directorial debut. Eve Cohen (Amazon’s “The Other Zoey” and HBO’s “White Lotus”) lenses the film, Donald Rae co-writes, and Dana Dontcheva produces.

Look for the film in festivals next year.
