Takeda Books FX’s “The Americans”

TV Film actor Scott Takeda heads to New York this week to shoot a guest starring role for the sixth and final season of FX’s Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated drama “The Americans.”

Created by Joseph Weisberg, the series follows the lives of two Soviet intelligence agents who pose as a married couple to spy on the American government in the 1980’s. It stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys.

Takeda will be filming the third episode of the season titled “The General.” Supervising producer Tracey Scott Wilson pens the episode, and Dan Attias directs.

The episode will air sometime during Spring 2018.
