FX Series to Premiere in September

FX has now released details for the anthology series formerly titled “Platform” (reported earlier in June). The series will now be called “The Premise” beginning with episode Scott Takeda shot. “Social Justice Sex Tape,” will lead off the series run, starring Ben Platt (“Pitch Perfect”), Tracee Ellis Ross (“Blackish”), Ayo Edebiri (“Dickinson”) and Jermaine Fowler (“Friends of the People”). Takeda costars as Dr. Hopkins. The episode is directed by Kitao Sakurai (“Dave”) and is written by B.J. Novak and Josie Duffy Rice. It will air on September 16th.

The headlining cast for the other five episodes include Beau Bridges, Lucas Hedges, Kaitlyn Dever, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Jon Bernthal, Lola Kirke, and Daniel Dae Kim.
