TV/Film actor Scott Takeda booked a large co-starring role in the highly-antcipated ABC anthology series “American Crime.’ Created by Academy winner John Ridley (’12 Years a Slave’), the series follows the lives of participants in a criminal trial with significant racial overtones. Their lives are forever changed during the process.
The anthology is a production of ABC Studios and stars Felicity Huffman (‘Desparate Housewives’), Timothy Hutton (‘Ordinary People’), Lily Taylor (‘Say Anything’), and Regina King (‘Jerry Maguire’).
Takeda plays Mike Narasaki in the eighth episode, written by Julie Hébert and directed by Rachel Morrison.
Entertainment Weekly recently named the 11-part anthology one of the ‘19 Shows We’ll Be Checking Out in 2015.’ The Wrap also named it one of the ‘19 Most Anticipated TV Shows of 2015.’ The anthology starts airing Thursday March 5 at ABC.
