Variety: “Silk Road” to Premiere at Tribeca 2020

Today, Tribaca Film Festival announced it’s 2020 lineup with a slate of 115 films that includes the world premiere of “Silk Road” starring Jason Clarke, Nick Robinson, Alexandra Shipp, Katie Aselton, Jimmy Simpson, and Paul Walter Hauswer. The festival will run April 15-26 in New York City.

The film captures the birth of the darknet marketplace showing the cat-and-mouse game between its creator and the DEA agent determined to bring down its millennial creator. Scott Takeda costars as Bank Manager Bob. The film is slated in the Spotlight Narrative segment of the festival. Sierra/Affinity is handling international distribution with Endeavor Content on the US distribution.
