Takeda Joins Cast of Lifetime Christmas Movie

This week, TV/Film actor Scott Takeda is on location for the production of the Lifetime Christmas movie “Once Upon A Main Street.” He joins cast members Vanessa Lachey (NBC’s “Truth Be Told”), Ryan McPartlin (FOX’ “LA’s Finest”), Patrick Duffy (“Dallas”) and Polly Draper (“thirtysomething”). Takeda will play Billy Wu in a large supporting role.

“This is a huge bucket-list thing for me,” said Takeda. “I’ve always wanted to be in a Christmas movie. My lovely bride and I have watched them for years, and it’s always appointment television for us. And now, I get to be in one.”

People Magazine is the sponsor for this made for TV movie and will feature the cast and production in an upcoming issue. The producers of this film are Paula Hart and Melissa Joan Hart of Hartbreak Films. Draper pulls double-duty as director. The film will air on Lifetime in December.
