Takeda Guest Stars In New AMC Series

TV/Film actor Scott Takeda just booked a guest starring role on a new AMC series called “Halt and Catch Fire.” The series is produced by AMC Studios and follows the personal computing boom in the early 1980’s through the eyes of a visionary, an engineer, and a prodigy. The lives of this mismatched trio are challenged personally and professionally as their innovations confront the corporate giants of the time.

The 10-episode series is created by Chris Cantwell and Chris Rogers and executive produced by showrunner Jonathan Lisco (‘Southland’) and Grand Via Productions’ Mark Johnson (‘Breaking Bad’), and Melissa Bernstein (‘Rectify’).

The show premieres June 1. Takeda guest stars in the fifth episode as Hirohiko Takeda.
