Takeda Commercial Begins Airing

This week, the pair of national SAG/AFTRA commercials Scott Takeda shot this spring began airing across the nation in a heavy rotation of cable news, basic cable and social media.

The :15 version is a humorous commercial is for Innovation Refunds, It stars Ty Burrell of ABC’s “Modern Family.” Takeda plays Ty’s CPA, confronting the Innovation Refunds CEO in an old-style western showdown. The :04 spot showed Takeda and the CEO doing a high-five.

“That was such a fun shoot,” said Takeda. “Ty was great. He’s exactly what you see on TV. So nice. And it was fun sharing stories with him about the feature film “Fair Game” we were both in about ten years ago. Many thanks to the casting director Jeff Johnson and casting associate Robert Andrus for thinking of me for this role.”
