Takeda Books Role on NBC’s “The Night Shift”
TV Film actor Scott Takeda heads to New Mexico this week to shoot a large costarring role for the third season of NBC’s hit summer drama “The Night Shift.” He plays TV reporter Tom Jeng.
Created by Jeff Judah and Gabe Sachs, the series follows the lives of a group of medical doctors from the Army who work the night shift at a San Antonio hospital. Takeda plays a stressed TV reporter in the fourth episode titled “Three-Two-One.” Long-time co-producer Zachary Lutsky pens the episode, and Oz Scott directs.
The episode will air sometime this summer.
