Takeda Books Role In New CW Series
This month, TV/Film actor Scott Takeda is on-location in Louisiana shooting a guest starring role in the midseason replacement series “Star-Crossed” for The CW. The series is set in the near future and involves an epic romance between a human girl and an alien boy ten years after the aliens have landed on Earth. This sci-fi “Romeo and Juliet” is a co-production of CBS Television Studios and Warner Brothers Television.
‘Star-Crossed’ stars Aimee Teegarden (‘Friday Night Lights’) as Emery, Matt Lanter (‘90210’) as Roman, Grey Damon (‘The Secret Circle’) as Grayson, Malese Jow (‘The Vampire Diaries’) as Julia and Titus Makin Jr. (‘Glee’). Takeda plays Dr. Lerner in the seventh episode.
Edward Ornelas (‘Grey’s Anatomy’) directs the episode titled “To Seek A Foe” written by Meredith Averill and Jay Faerber. The series will premiere in early 2014 on The CW.
