Takeda Books Netflix Series

This week, TV/Film actor Scott Takeda travels to the east coast to begin shooting a large co-starring role for the Netflix series ‘Messiah.’ The series will begin streaming in late 2019.

The 10-episode suspense thriller follows a modern-day man who first appears in the Middle East creating a groundswell of followers who say he is the Messiah.

The series stars Michelle Monaghan, John Ortiz, Mehdi Dehbi, Melinda Page Hamilton, and Jane Adams. It is based on a BBC series, adapted by Michael Petroni (‘The Book Thief’). Takeda plays Mr. Mishida, a photographer who documents proof that the Messiah is real.

He is expected to appear in episode 106 penned by Michael Bond and directed by Kate Woods. His role is scheduled to recur in Season 2.
