Takeda Books Comedy Central’s “Drunk History”

This month, the fifth season of Comedy Central’s “Drunk History” started shooting, with more funny history lessons. TV/Film actor Scott Takeda has booked a guest starring role on the Season 5 premiere. Role and episode details are being kept under wraps at the time.

The series is an adaptation of a “Funny or Die” web series created by Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner.  In each episode, an inebriated celebrity narrator, struggles to recount an event from history, while actors enact the narrator’s anecdotes and lip sync the dialogue.  Past cast members have included Kristen Wiig, Jack Black, Bob Odenkirk, Octavia Spenser, and Will Ferrell.

The fifth season will begin airing this Fall.
