Takeda Books Colorado Lottery Commercial

This week, TV/Film actor Scott Takeda shoots a regional SAG-AFTRA commercial for the Colorado Lottery’s latest game. The spots will run later this summer.

“I think this campaign is so funny,” said Takeda. “Everything is hush-hush right now until the spots run, but the writers did a fabulous job of finding the humor and I love-love-love the wardrobe they found for my character.”

The Docter Twins (Jason and Matt Docter) are the co-directors out of Los Angeles.  Cactus Communications is the agency of record. Takeda is represented for commercial television by Donna Baldwin Agency.

UPDATE 8/1/16 - The spot started a heavy rotation during NBC’s coverage of the Summer Olympics.

“My social media blew up during the opening ceremonies,” said Takeda. “One friend wrote “Time to start a new drinking game – one shot for every time Scott’s commercial airs.’ I’m also getting a lot of people saying that they laughed, so I’m glad our efforts were entertaining. Major kudos to my cast mates Jessie Nerud and Jason Henning.”

UPDATE 11/16/16 - The spot is now airing in Kansas for the holidays after the Kansas Lottery purchased the creative.
